The Flamingos of Larnaca

A short video presenting the beauty and tranquility these magnificent migratory birds offer to the people of Cyprus every year, as they inhabit the Larnaca Salt Lake for the season.

This video was made with all necessary precautions in order not to disturb the birds or their habitat. The crew had all the necessary permits for such type of filming. The footage was shot from such a hight that the birds did not pay any attention to the camera. Ultra High Definition (4K) technology was used, which allowed us to bring the images closer during editing. Also the sounds were added during post-production.
